Frequently Asked Questions
Where are you located?
We are located in Northwest Oakland County, MI, 10 minutes south of Holly off Milford Rd and 15 minutes north of M-59. We are very close to Diehl’s Orchard in Holly which you can find on Google maps. Our address is private to protect tenants, but will be sent to you when you register for a class. You may find us on Google Maps
Do you have class if it raining?
Yes. We have a lovely yoga area in our historic barn. Did you know that goats don’t like to get wet? You are welcome to wear your shoes.
Do goats poop during class?
Yes, as we explain during the introduction to class, goats poop and pee whenever and wherever they like. Goat poop is very easy to deal with, just flip your mat over. If you would like to rent one of our mats for $5, you won’t risk getting yours dirty. Alternatively, you can bring an old towel, just not your expensive mat. If we are outside on the grass, you may not even want a mat. The choice is yours. We will do our best to alleviate any issue that might arise.
Can I bring treats for the goats?
No, but thank you for asking. There are many things goats shouldn’t eat. We will provide you with snacks for the goats.
How early should I arrive?
To ensure that you have time to use the restroom if necessary, complete any forms, we strongly urge you to arrive No LATER THAN 15 minutes prior to the start of class. Registration opens 30 minutes in advance.
What ages may attend?
We ask that only those 13 and up attend regularly scheduled classes. Younger children may be allowed at private events/classes. Contact us with questions.
What yoga experience is required?
Our classes are geared to people who have little or no yoga experience. Depending on the group of participants, the class may vary. If you are booking a private class, we can tailor the class to your group’s level of experience.
What do I do if I am not feeling well on the day of the class?
Please give us a call ASAP and stay at home and seek medical attention if appropriate.
WILL THE GOATS CLIMB ON MY BACK LIKE I SEE ON YOUTUBE?
The goats that you generally see on YOUTUBE are mainly newborn goats and weigh only a few pounds. Because our goats are older and may weigh up to 100 pounds, we train them to not jump on peoples backs. Your safety is very important to us. They will do lots of other things to make you laugh. We can show you how to pose with our goats in order to get cute photos.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
